Onex Expert will Lead Heating Technology Workshop Hosted by the Forging Industry Association

Learn about gas heating technology for forging from our expert mechanical engineer and project manager, Tom Anderson, during FIA’s upcoming Heating Technology Workshop.

The event includes a plant tour and two-day training this December 13th and 14th which may be attended virtually or onsite at the New Forging Industry Association headquarters at 6363 Oak Tree Blvd, Independence, OH 44131. Tom will present on the first day about gas heating technology along with representatives from Fives North American Combustion, Nutec Bickley, Chiz Bros, and International Technical Ceramics, LLC. Tom holds a professional engineering license and has designed and built large industrial furnaces all over the world for processing aluminum and steel. He graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2008. As a student, Tom gained real-world experience working full-time as an engineer and project assistant designing and building fume exhaust systems for the steel and aluminum industries. He now has over 15 years of experience and authored a book in 2019 called, Engineer Your Career.
