During the past 40 years in the refractory industry, I have seen, and been part of the continuing effort to develop monolithic refractories as the go to product for most of the heat intensive industries. However, there are still applications where brick is a better choice.

When I was in the 2nd grade, my legs would hurt so bad from growing pains that my mom would have to rub them so I could fall asleep at night. Personal growth hurts whether it is physical or emotional pain. When you are learning something new, it is uncomfortable.
For as long as I can remember I have been a lifelong learner…improving bit by bit, day by day. My mom was a stay-at-home mom so I did not officially attend preschool but I did have a lot of learning opportunities.
